Clay Masks to the test

There are so many different types of clay masks in the market, each of them can offer you something different. I have put many different ones to the test, and have come up with these 3 below. Depending on your skin type, you’ll be able to find one that will meet your needs and hopefully positively impact the way you look and feel about yourself!

1. Origin Active Charcoal Mask

This charcoal mask is extremely gentle in comparison to the other 2 below. I would highly recommend this for people with dry to normal skin, as it is gentle and does not strip the natural oils. After using it, your skin feels soft and smooth. It is also great for removing blackheads! You can find this at Sephora, try a small sample size for $5.00 to see how this amazing product works for you!

2. Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask

This mask works great for people ranging from dry to normal skin. It not only deep cleanses, but it also leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, clean, and noticeably reduced the look of blemishes and pores. It is perfect for those with acne prone skin or anyone looking for a product to help them feel refreshed and clean! You can find this product at Vichy online or in stores at Shoppers Drug Mart (they also sell sample sizes which is perfect if you want to test it out for yourself!).

3. L’oreal Charcoal Clay Mask

This is a much cheaper alternative but still effective. This product is perfect for those suffering from break outs or acne prone skin. If you have normal or oily skin, this product is perfect for you! After using this charcoal mask, my skin feels tighter, cleaner, while diminishing the look of blemishes. This product is much harsher than the other two, so it is extremely important to tone and moisturize after. The great thing about the L’oreal mask is that they also offer different options depending on your needs. Check them out at your local drug store or at Walmart (I love mixing them up too for different parts of my face!)
